...and a note on my friends list: I view a LiveJournal 'friends list' as a list of subscribed journals. If you're on my friends list, it means you can read my journal if you want to. However, I don't read all the journals that I 'friend': I utilise my Default View filter to keep up with about half of them, and that's about as many as I can manage. It's not personal - it's mostly a time issue. I have a very small baby, which limits my playtime on the internet. Adding you to my 'friends list' does not necessarily mean I read your journal.
